Elements and Principles of Art and Design

 The Elements of Design the different pieces that can be used to make up art and they consist of lines, color, shape, value, texture, direction, and size and scale. The Principles of Design are how you use the elements of design to make art and the main Principles of Design are proximity, balance, alignment, repetition, contrast, and space. Elements and Principles of Design are important to the profession of Graphic Design because understanding these fundamental principles helps Graphic Designers to give their artworks depth and meaning. The Elements and Principle of Design are is also important to the profession of Graphic Design because it Graphic Designers to make better decisions that allows them to find a balance within their art. I could use these Elements and Principles of Design to be successful with my own designs by using more colors and contrast and also use some values and textures to make my art more visually appealing. I could also use repetition and scale to make my designs have more impact.
